It's been a while!!!! My last podcast was in September and was a teaser for my gig during Taiwan Pride in October. Part of the reason for my silence was due to preparation (physically, mentally, emotionally and professionally) for the move to Seattle. After 3.5 years living and the greater part of the last 5 years spent in Shanghai it was not an easy decision to make. I love SH and as a matter of fact there are times I feel "home sick" and wish I was in SH.

I can not thank each and every one of you as everything I have professionally is because of your support. I am not very familiar with producing a podcast since I would use my recordings from live sets. I have decided to create a new series entitled 'shanghai sound' which will be a podcast that stays true both the sound that has been behind my success and the people in the city of Shanghai, China and all of Asia who have supported me!!

Although this may be similar to what I would play in Shanghai expect this is only the beginning so expect more podcasts of different varieties in the future!!!!

Hey Guys,

It's been a while and to make up for not being more active in releasing podcasts I decided I would make up for it. This is my 35th podcast, which up until now has 3 episodes that are not from a live set recorded at a gig. You know which 3 they are? My very 1st Episode which was a Tea Dance demo and my 2 G.I.R.L. Gay Days competition. So yes this is the first podcast since Feb of 2010, which is not live.

I am excited about my Taipei Debut at the closing part, Taiwan Power during HX Production's 'Taiwan Pride' (For more info check out www.TAIWAN-PRIDE.com). We are not only celebrating Asia's Biggest Pride Celebration, but also HX's 10th Year Anniversary!!! This podcast is a "Teaser" in the sense of the overall feel of the journey. High energy from the get go. At the end of the journey is the original, yes original, of a track that was released when I was 20 years old.

Well guys I am hoping to get into a routine of posting my live sets as podcasts more frequently. Here is my recording from July 7, 2012, which at the time no one was aware that it would be Angel's last night at MJ Club. As we head into the weekend we celebrate a new beginning with Club Angel SH as they move back to one of the biggest clubs in all of Shanghai, Obama Club. If that's not exciting enough we launch the new venue & celebrate their one year anniversary. I can't wait to open for International DJ Steven Redant!!!!

Finally had time to publish a new podcast, and am happy to share this special episode with all of you. Six months ago I had my trial at Club Angel Shanghai, and now as one of their Resident DJ's I am honored to play for the more than 1500 people almost every weekend.

Hey guys it has been a while since my last podcast, but I have just been extremely busy in all area's of life. Since it has been a while I have decided to reward you with this live recording of mine. It is my opening set for DJ Jack Chang (UK).

I love playing a peak set and starting to a full dance floor, but these sets make you appreciate the job an opening DJ does. They start out with an empty club and build the energy and dancefloor up for the DJ to take control. These sets I do not get a chance to spin that often. Hope you like it!!!

Here is the first part of my Angel Shanghai Trial/Debut. I split the recording into two due to the fact that there was a performance in the middle of my set. I can not tell you how nervous I was going on to my set. I went in with no idea of what I was going to play, including my introduction track.

This was so much fun for me to spin as a set because it was a new crowd which kept me on my toe with most tracks not even playing in complete but me mixing another track into. I am also grateful for on of the owner's friends who kept pushing me by saying "Come On MIke You Can Do Better" and he was write so he was a great inspiration to have.

I must say I am excited to announce that after this set I was informed that I will be asked to play again here on a regular basis (new residency?).

Well guys people have been asking me for a new podcast and although I do not have any new live sets I do have parts of old sets that I can release to hold you over. Here is the second part of my Valentine’s Day set. Valentine’s was on Monday so this set was on a Monday night in Shanghai. I actually put a lot of prep work before my gig and pulling both old and new tracks that were appropriate for the night. If you pay close attention to both Part 1 and Part 2 you will notice that every track contains either the word “love” or “heart” and some may even contain both.

Now that I have some free time I plan on posting a lot of my live sets from this year. Look for 4 to 5 new podcasts within the next couple weeks. This is the first part of my set from Valentine's Day. I actually think this is my favorite set to date because I was able to spin tracks from 4 years or so ago and vocal tracks too. I also made some private edits to make the tracks sound a little "fresh".

This podcast gets me grooving and in the mood to go out for anything, dinner, work, DJ or a night on the town. I am really proud of my mixing this night as I was sampling tracks in and had long mixes.
